For personal trainers

Your clients eat well. You get paid

Get your own code. Your clients get £5 off a first order of £40 or more, and you earn 50p on every bowl they order for the next 12 months, paid monthly.

How it works

You already tell your clients what to eat. Now there's a bowl with 40 g of protein or more to point them to, and a code that pays you when they order.

  1. Sign up below. We check you're a self-employed personal trainer and send you a short agreement to sign.

  2. Get your member number and your code. Your member number (like FG-PT-001) is for your statements and payments. Your personal code (like JAMIE5) is a promotion code at our Stripe checkout, and your own link is 40grams.co.uk/order?code=YOURCODE: it fills your code in for your clients.

  3. Your client orders online with your code. They enter it at checkout, or use your link and it's already there. They get £5 off a first order of £40 or more (so not the taster). From then on they're linked to you for 12 months, so they don't need the code again.

  4. You earn 50p a bowl. On every bowl they order for those 12 months: their first order and every repeat.

  5. Get paid monthly. By bank transfer, once your total reaches £10. Your statement shows bowls and money, never your clients' names or details.

One client on a 10-bowl pack every week earns you £5 a week. That's £260 over their 12 months. An example, not a promise: what you earn depends on what your clients order.

The small print

You're a self-employed affiliate, so you declare what you earn. It's money per bowl, not a percentage, and it comes out of our share, so your clients don't pay a penny more. Codes work on online orders only: bowls bought from a stockist's fridge don't count, because there's no checkout. We deliver within 20 miles of our kitchen; clients further out can collect or pick up at a stockist.

When you share your code on social media, make it clear you earn from it, for example "Ad" or "I earn from this code". The advertising rules (the CAP Code) require it. Talk about our food the honest way: no health, weight-loss or medical claims. We'll send you the claims we're allowed to make. Never tell anyone a bowl is free from an allergen; point them to the label and the allergens on our order page.
